Vmware server version for virtual appliance?

Which vmware server version does ASG virtual appliance run on?

Version 1.07 or 2.0? Is vmware tools installed?

But the answer is not very clear. It might work with either vmware server v1 or v2?

And vmware tools is also installed and working for v1 or v2?

I have installed ASG v7.400 with vmware server 2 and it works.
