    Will this "bug" be rectified in update v7.4.02? Apparently this issue is not a priority in comparison with other bd issues. Is it known when it might be addresses/fixed?

    Up2Date from 7.400 to 7.401
    DB upgrade took 3 minutes.

    I just looked at my Packet filter rules. They show up in numeric order.

    Not your packet filter rules. A group within a packet filter rule. The bug has NOT been rectified as of v7.4.01.

    I hope Astaro will fix it in the next release. If you have 1000 or more entries you might understand why it is important to see them in order without having to filter for all similar entries in the Definitions tab to avoid duplicates.

    Oops. Sorry. I have a small list of packet filter rules. I don't have groups. I'm just using it at home.

    Jim, I was pretty sure, but I just checked to confirm: the WebAdmin interface wouldn't let me "duplicate" an entry in a group.

    It is curious that something as well-established as alphabetical ordering in group definitions would have gotten broken, but if that's the temporary price to pay for having availability groups, it's a good trade.

    You are correct. It would not be an exact duplicate but one that may have one small difference in the title. 

    But currently, if I was creating the entry in the group then I would never see the error. Or if I wanted to create the entry but I saw that I already had an entry I would not have to wait until the ASG told me there is a duplicate and then go the Definitions and filter to confirm it.

    I hope that it will rectified. It is a wonderful convenience.

    After thinking about this some I think I need to say this:

    I appreciate the effort behind the ASG.

    I appreciate the fact that the software is provided to the general public without fee.

    The provision of this software makes the internet easier to control and is part of the solution to the many problems that internet patrons face.

    From a parent, it protects our children from the many threats that abound in the cyber world.
