I have finally finished building and installing V7.400 on a new low power box. The box has been online for 12 hours, rolled through a midnight process without a problem.
It is surprising the things that now work that wouldn't work on the old ASG that had all the beta software installed.
1/. Groups in the web profiles
2/. HTTPS scanning, a couple of sites I access are using invalid certificates.
I originally configured the internal NIC to use VLANs, but some of the NICs on my LAN don't know how to handle VLANs. That caused some grief changing the configuration back to a single IP range while I investigate the VLAN problem.
A minor issue which I don't understand, some PCs are not being reported in the stats, but are in the logs. The network stats other than concurrent connections is not updating. It was before I removed the vlans and restored the internal nic to standard ethernet.
I have restarted the ASG and not seen any updates.
Took over 12 hours to configure from scratch using paper copies of the original configuration. Still some fine tuning to be done I suspect.
So far the new ASG appears to be very responsive, the user load is very light at the moment, my PC and web broadcasts.
