ASG 320 Server Replacement

I just got a 320 replacement server. It is running v7.400, and my backups are from 7.306.

When I restore the backup to the new server everything seems to go fine, but when I try to login (using the ip address from our old server, not the 192.168.0.1) after the restore I get an invalid username / password error.

Should I install 7.306 on the new server, and then try my restore? Or am I missing something?

  • Shut it down, put a usb key into it containing an unencrypted backup then turn it on.  If that doesn't do it, then I would agree with the reload.
