Hmm, I doubt Astaro is causing that.

how long have you had your ASG. It might pay to check what country you have it set for or at least what country your PCs think they are in.

I know some of the stuff I install at work puts me Central Asia or Russian time zones and countries.

I've got the same problem.  they refuse to update because we are in an "Embargoed country". But the UK is not embargoed and other networks are fine. Even these machines are fine when on other networks which leaves the ASG as the only common problem.

What traffic are they trying to pass, which the ASG doesn't like?

can anyone shed any light on this?
