How to Change IP in AMG VM?

I realize that this is with AMG instead of ASG, but have you read the following?

Thanks for responding, but nothing there seems to help either and I am not running on Windows, but Linux. Also, when looking at the vm settings in the Vmware web guin, there appear to be 2 nics created for the vm, but none are active although they are set to connect at boot? But when I login to the console ifconfig shows 192.168.1.0.1. This should not be that difficult? Why cant the vm be created to either obtain an Ip through DHCP, or, on the first boot prompt for network settings!! I know its not your fault but maybe someone from Astaro will respond with a solution and it simply cannot be to change my business network to match the AMG subnet. Any other suggestions? and thanks for trying

When installing a new appliance, the IP is pre-set, and the pre-installed VM appliance apparently works that way, too.  I just set my PC temporarily to the 192.168.1/24 subnet, login to WebAdmin, change the IP to one that fits, then set my PC back to normal.  I'd rather not have to worry about DHCP.

FWIW, an install from scratch does request an IP for the internal interface.
