ASG 110/120: Noise level

Hello,

I'm considering getting one (or more) Astaro ASG 110 or 120 for my home and for connecting a few of the staffers at home. One thing that I can't really figure out, however, is the noise level of that box: is it a fully passive system or does it has active cooling and fans ?

I think they all have fans; I don't know how loud they are though.

If you want something _completely_ fanless, there are some VIA Mini-ITX boards which are fanless, such as the some of the Jetway brand boards, and fanless cases such as the Morex T-3310. mini-itx.com sells them in the EU. Check the Astaro HCL for the network chipsets before buying, or search these forums for Jetway, there's several people using them here.

Also note that there is no such thing as a home-user license for the Astaro appliances, although if it's for business use, you should get a real license anyways.
