IBase Book XL - Home license useable ?

Question : 

We've exchanged our Astaro IBase Book XL for his larger brother. The licenses have also been transported to the new equipment.

I'd like to implement the IBase Book XL in my home environment for testing purposes.

Can I use an Astaro Home Licence on the IBase Book XL ? If so, how can I implement this ?

    I've never heard of that model; I'll take a guess and say that this is probably a third-party appliance, not an official Astaro appliance.

    In which case, you should be able to use the software ISO version, with any software license including the home user one.

    You can register for a home license at my.astaro.com.

    The only issue may be with re-installation of the ISO, if it doesn't have a VGA port.

    i wouldn t do that, the Ibase are product from the company Contech in Holland. 

    The appliance support v5 or v6 but really not sure with v7 hardware compatibility......

    I should have mentioned that you could also try importing a new license in the webmin (assuming you know the IP address for the webmin).

    After that, you could do a "Factory Reset" to clear the configuration; just make sure you know what IP it will use after that [:)]
