ASG 7.305 - Up2Date Error

I am getting the following error in Up2date log. The Update pattern are stuck at 9010 version.

How can I solve this issue?

    There's nothing you can do as the 500 message is internal to the server.  I don't understand why, but my guess is that it won't let your standard 7.305 Astaro download an Up2Date for the 7.35 beta.

    Depending on what they have subscriptions for, two customers have 9023 and one has 9013, so 9010 doesn't seem troublesome to me.  If there aren't any problems, I wouldn't worry about this.

    I'ts the first time that happens in over one year of service.

    The first time I got this issue was 16/JAN/09 at 21:46 CET

    I have to agree with Bob. If that error doesn't persist, it is not a problem since the downloader will automatically retry a couple of minutes later. The pattern version you have on your ASG will only change if you are using a pattern type that changed; e.g. if you don't run virus scanning, you won't download the virus patterns (although the version for other customers changes).

    Now our ASG update man-app but defs version is still 9013:

    Installing up2date package file '/var/up2date//man-app/u2d-man-app-7.35.tgz.gpg'

    Searching for 'ohelp' ends up in a 500 error. The others too I think - didn't follow the live log at the moment.

    We use 'Secure Web', AV with both engines and IPS is on.

    Bob, this request is for the appliance manual (man-app) version 35 (-> 7.35). A system up2date package would be of type sys, and the latest beta package would be version 386 (-> 7.386). 

    I just digged through the up2date server logs - as far as I can see these error messages are because of a synchronisation problem between the up2date servers. You asked one server for man-app up2dates and got offered version 35, but then the actual download failed because of something (error type 500) and the downloader retried with the next server. The next server didn't have the file at all (error type 404 - inconsistency), retry with the next server, and on and on. Usually, this is not a persisting problem, since packages are re-synched to the servers automatically, but there seem to be some hickups there. I am just taking care of getting the servers synchronized again manually.
