Update 7.202 to 7.300 fails to complete

Recently I needed to reinstall 7.1 from scratch. Subsequently I was presented with a long series of updates to install. All went OK until the update from 7.202 to 7.300 or later. 

The system starts the update but then appears to fall into a hole (that's a technical term). Astaro continues to show 7.202 as the installed and 7.305 as the latest. 

Any ideas as to how to make the system progress its update sequence?

    First question- if you reinstalled, why not install 7.304 from ISO?  Then you would only need to apply 7.305 to be current.

    Is the system in HA or Cluster? If not, have you tried the force option listed elsewhere in the forums?
    Short version:
    1) reboot
    2) from root shell: auisys.plx --oldestonly --rpmargs --force
    (this will force the update from 7.202>7.300 only and stop there)
    3) if it doesn't work, repeat 1 and 2 again
    4) when it works, make sure the system is not power cycled for at least an hour after the post-install reboot to allow the database conversion to complete.
    5) process remaining updates from webadmin

    Jack, I really appreciate your advice.  I'll give it a go.  

    I find Astaro an absolutely fabulous system, but I'm not exactly an IT guru - in fact I'm not a guru at all!!  My son set the system up but he lives on the other side of the world now so its a bit of a steep learning curve for me at the present.
