eMail spam Filtering Problems AMG 1000

Hi,

i've received our AMG 1000 test appliance yesterday and right now
i want to include my temporary new "toy" into our Network.

The AMG 1000 receives email through a pop3 grabber and delivers it
to our internal exchange 2003. I've configured LDAP and AD for receiptient
scanning and the mail delivery works fine. It delivers every mail to the
target host (exchange). 

And here is the problem. it doesn't block spam and email with invalid receiptients.

I'm running firmware version 7.305 and the pattern version 8890.
LDAP & AD Tests were successful. I've no idea why it won't use
the AD verification - the recipient verification under Mail Security ->
SMTP -> Routing is set to "In Active Directory"

  • If you really want to use the AD lookup, make sure the Base DN field is filled in properly in the Authentication section.
