It would be really nice if there was some way to pay a small fee to upgrade the free 10 user/1000 concurrent connection license to add just a few more ip's would be really nice. Keep the license the same as far as no support, etc. Just add a few more allowed ip's. I'm sure there's others like myself out there who run out of ip's and can't afford the 25 user license and all the trimmings. Let's face it everything today is internet enabled, and all the ASG has to do is see one packet from a device and it's on the list of "users". I have a situation here with only 9 users but we have four wireless routers in a WDS network and every once in a while those routers make a peep (STP) and they get counted as "users" and I go over the license.
I have no problem paying something for ASG, it's great. But I can't afford the 25 user license so I had to switch to a competitor's system.
I suspect there's others in the same boat which represents an untapped market for Astaro - there's gold in them thar hills! I'm sure there's a lot of families with less than 10 users but with Wii's, TiVo's, iPhones, etc.
