Dual Firewall

I am currently using ClarkConnect 4.2 to service a network of roughly 50 computers, and I hate its reporting and logging capabilities.  I would love to switch to ASG, but we use 3 DSL lines and CC supports multi wan and (from what ive found) ASG does not.  Would it be possible to hook up separate machines in series to use CC for its multi wan capabilities and ASG for its filtering and reporting abilities? I know there will be some loss in speed due to the data going through an additional processor, but I'm willing to risk it for the awesomness that ASG. If its even possible, any help on the config and install would be appreciated.  Thanks much.

  • Hi there!

We indeed have this oft-asked feature of multi-wan link balancing fully implemented for our new 7.400 release. Which should begin beta extremely soon. (ie. Today, barring any last minute issues) so you can evaluate it. Hope we can earn your business. And the Awesomeness is free of charge [:)]
  • Yep... I have several clients that have been looking forward to this... there's also going to be some other cool features (and often requested) in the Beta, but I'll let the Astaro guys announce those when they are ready...  looking forward to a good Beta!
