I have a four port DSL modem from my ISP.
But it's not really a DSL modem...They get me to use DHCP...OK, whatever. Long story short is two ports are internet, two are for TV (as per my ISP). So I'm playing by their rules (until I get curious enough someday to plug my PC into one of the designated "tv only" network cables - oohhh!!!!
Anyway...
I have two uplinks - each port provides me with a different IP address. So I'm thinking I can hook both up to my ASG and enjoy link aggregation (I know I know, my wire is 100Mb, but the DSL is only 6Mb so it's not gonna make a difference...right? Or...Will it? Since it's two uplinks, does that in theory give me 12Mb of connectivity if I get using LAG?).

Here's another question - two trains are travelling at....OK, sorry, bad joke.
Reason I ask is I tried to setup LAG on my ASG but it wouldn't work.
Should this work? If so, I will document my results and post them for evaluation by you experts because it didn't work when I tried it before...
I suspect the 6Mb limit is imposed on the WAN link of the modem anyway, but it'd be cool to have LAG enabled anyway... ;o)
