Manually applying updates

I've just gotten a brand new ASG220 delivered, looking on the back it says 7.300. (I haven't yet fired it up)

For updating do I need to download and install each one sequentially?

For example install, 7.301 then 7.302 then 7.303 and finally 7.304.

I've noticed on the astaro ftp that 7.304 is significantly smaller than 7.303, so am I correct that I need to download and install all of them? (one by one)

EDIT: Yep, just fired it up and it's version 7.300. I'm currently downloading the updates and intend to apply them manually.

    Hi,
    yes, up2dates have to be applied sequentially. No, you don't need to do this manually, if you have a maintenance subscription or you are still in the warranty period. Just give it time and let the automatic up2date download take place, then you'll see the updates listed in the WebAdmin, and a button labelled "update to the latest version" next to it. If you press this button, all updates shown will be installed in one go.

    Well, currently we have two 220's on site and i'm not wanting to upset people by changing them over in the middle of the day.

    I downloaded the updates and applied them one by one to our purchased 220. Seemed to go fine, copied over the config i'd set-up with the demo/trial hardware and it worked great.

    If you had an unused public IP, you could have assigned the external address temporarily to that and let it upgrade itself.

    Yes I could and I did consider, but frankly I had it sitting on my desk next to my pc so I figured why not manually update.
