SSI ISO Image Installation Fails

I have downloaded from Astaro FTP SSI Image to install on Hardware Appliance.
Image boots and shows message "can't find etc/mtab no such file or directory exists"
It checks for Hardware and shows Installation Failed.

Anyone has solution. I installed ASG v7.300 software appliance on the same appliance works fine.

    I have Nexcom NSA1042N8 Network Security Appliance with Intel Pentium M Processor, 2GB RAM, 160GB HD, 4G LAN ports. Its similar to ASG 220.
    I have installed ASG v7.300 Software Appliance image. But SSI image installation fails. Why?

    It fails because the SSI image is configured to only work on Astaro hardware.  You will need to use a software appliance image on your hardware.  Yours is similar to an ASG220, but not the same, and thus the SSI will not load.  The functionality of the hardware and software version is identical, except for minor details such as the LCD control panel.

    I agree on your point. But I wanted is to have similar appliance and software license from local reseller and sell to my clients.

    ASG v7.300 software appliance works fine except the LCD doesn't show any information.

    When SSI Image is booting. The LCD shows "Astaro Security" Pre-Installation-E"
    also shows Factory Reset, Reboot and Shutdown.

    How to make LCD display this info when Software appliance image is installed?If this works then I don't need to Install SSI Image.

    I have tried SSI with USB-CDROM, will it work if I use SSI Astaro usb Stick?

    The hardware checking will prevent the SSI image from installing on non-ASG hardware.  I think you will find some information on LCD4Linux elsewhere in the forum, or at their site: LCD4Linux ? Trac.

    I have the Astaro USB stick loaded with 7.3. I've loaded a few ASG's and seems that I have to watch the orange activity light, and wait until it stops before I know the load is complete. The screen is blank during the final stage?  I let it sit for a long time expecting a completion message or something. Or at least beeps to let me know it's shutdown. Is this normal?
