Hi, I have an ASG 220 that has been randomly freezing. After logging the system I found the following:
kernel: hdc: dma_intr: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
Sep 7 15:12:56 (none) kernel: hdc: dma_intr: error=0x40 { UncorrectableError }, LBAsect=38298973, high=2, low=4744541, sector=38298961
Sep 7 15:12:56 (none) kernel: ide: failed opcode was: unknown
Sep 7 15:12:56 (none) kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev hdc, sector 38298961
Sep 7 15:12:56 (none) kernel: Buffer I/O error on device hdc9, logical block 0
Sep 7 15:13:00 (none) kernel: hdc: dma_intr: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
Sep 7 15:13:00 (none) kernel: hdc: dma_intr: error=0x40 { UncorrectableError }, LBAsect=38298973, high=2, low=4744541, sector=38298969
Sep 7 15:13:00 (none) kernel: ide: failed opcode was: unknown
Sep 7 15:13:00 (none) kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev hdc, sector 38298969

I am under the impression that one of my drives is failing or failed. That being the case, is it as easy as just replacing the drive and rebooting and having the OS rebuild the mirror or is there more involved? If that error is not a drive failing does anyone have an idea as to what it is referencing?
