Need Update for ASG V5

Hi there.

I have an older hardware-fw from astaro and need the update-files for astaro security gateway v5. Other versions don't run there.

So if anybody kann send me a link to this updates would be very nice.

It's very important...

    Astaro does not support Version 5 any more.  AFAIK, there are no download resources for up2dates for that version online any longer.  Perhaps it is time to replace the old equipment that will not run Version 6 or 7.

    The answer that i have to use other hardware for using v6 or v7 is what i know but it's not the solution i'm looking for.

    I know that there isn't anymore support for v5. But maybe anybody has the update-packages and can help me with them. That's what i'm looking for [;)]

    The v5>6 upgrade procedure KB is still available on the Knowledge Base at http://www.astaro.com/kb/, look for article 152749.

    V6 ISO for the migration is available at ftp://ftp.astaro.de/pub/Astaro_Security_Linux/v6.0/iso_i386/

    The v6>7 upgrade KB article is 235560.

    It would probably be best to simply perform a clean install of 7.300 and build the config from scratch.  The effort required to migrate cleanly from 5>6>7 will probably be greater than a fresh start.

    I don't look for the update from v5 to v6. I only need the updates for v5 to have a asg v5 with the latest updates. 

    asg v6 or v7 doesn't work with the hardware. so only v5 with the latest updates is the solution for me...

    There are no updates available for v5, it is no longer supported and the software is no longer available.

    Note also that V6 is currently supported, but no longer available for purchase and support will end for V6 next year.
