Command Centre Problems

Im having the problem that if our command centre goes offile for whatever reason for a certain period of time we have the manually reboot every client connected to the command centre before they will come back online. This seems to have happened since the upgrade to 7.3. Anyone else having this problem or have any ideas.

  • The old ACC system is prone to this; the new version in Beta (at least in my testing) has been much more resilient.

The good news is that when the new ACC system is released, this will take care of the problem (it's totally redesigned, at least as far as I can tell).  To temporarily work around the problem, a reboot is NOT necessary of ever remote Astaro.  What has worked for me is rebooting the ACC server; if that still doesn't bring them all back, log onto the Astaro units that are having trouble via SSH, su up to root... then run /var/mdw/scripts/device-agent restart ... after a minute or so, the ACC normally picks up the remote Astaro again.  Not an ideal solution, of course, but I don't think we're too far away from ACC 1.9 being released.
