Conversion of email-quarantine and logs

Hi,
i just upgraded to 7.300 from 7.202.

Now all the quarantined emails are gone. In the description of the up2date package it said they would be converted and that it can take a long time. But after 30 Minutes it didn't convert a single one.
We had about 100.000 quarantined emails on the machine. Now it shows "Quarantined total: 3" Those 3 were emails of the past 30 Minutes.

Is this normal? Does it really take THAT long to even start converting?

Hi Krycek,

yes it takes that long, because we moved the database conversion for reporting and quarentine to a nightly timeslot to not increase the load of the devcie during the day.

Please be patient and wait for one night and check if the problem is resolved after 24 hours.

I do have anotherquestion now:
Since 7.301 is out now, can I install the package before the conversion has finished? Will it still get converted afterwards?

Maybe you should give your machine time to finish the conversion jobs and then install 7.301... ;-)

well I will unless I get a confirmation that it can be done without problems.

It's just that right now would be a good time to install the package since there's not much activity in the house. Next week they'll all be back and working [:)]
