How to phycially integrate astaro into network

Hi I downloaded the ASG software and installed it to see what this thing is about.

i have a adsl/router (from telco) hooked into a linksys router and all my systems are into the linksys router.

Where does the astaro box go or plug in.  is there a network diagram avaliable somewhere?

    Hi sefsinc,

    The ASG will be a replacement for the linksys router. In order to put the asg into your network you will want to have at least 2 interfaces in your ASG one for the internal network and one for the external (internet connection). Connect the adsl router to the external interface. For the internal network you can connect the Internal interface to a switch or use the linksys router (do not connect the ASG to the wan port of the linksys).

    There is a user manual as well as a quick start guide, which are available at www.astaro.com/kb. There is also a link to the manual in webadmin, which contain some basic network diagrams.

    Much thanks!  Just what I needed to get me going, I've never been able to get the Astaro KB load for me in firefox.

    Kb loads for me with firefox, check your cookie settings i believe you need to accept third-party cookies for the site.
