ASG 120: Not recognizing ASL Updates 7.201 and 7.202

Hi,

I have a small issue with an ASG 120 at one of our customers sites:

According to the Dashboard there should be two Updates available for Download.

But alas, when I check the Up2Date pane in the Webadmin, there seem to be no updates available for download.

According to Webadmin, I'm running Version 7.200.

I checked Astaro's FTP server manually and found two updates, 7.201 and 7.202, downloaded both files, uploaded both files succesfully using the Upload function located in the Advanced tab, but still no dice.

Is it possible that those two updates cannot be applied to an ASG 120 or is there something wrong?

The Astaro is configured to prefetch new updates automatically, maybe there's something wrong here?

Any help would be appreciated!

    Hi,
    it is not possible to download packages manually. The up2date panel in the Webadmin only allows up2date package installation, which is obviously only possible when the packages have already been downloaded. 
    Since you have up2date prefetch turned on, those packages should be downloaded automatically (and afterwards be available for installation). I'd suggest you first check the up2date.log for details about why the automatic download failed. This file will also give us some clues why the manual up2date package upload failed.

    [FONT="Courier New"]2008:08:13-16:01:17 (none) auisys[2173]: No system up2date possible for product '', aborting.
    [/FONT]

    I was hoping 7.300 would solve this, but it doesn't seem to be likely.
    So I'm stuck at 7.200 for now...

    Check out this KB:http://portal.knowledgebase.net/article.asp?article=288713&p=5956 it should solve at least Babar's issue. Also, you can download updates manually, then upload them to the astaro. You don't have to wait for your asg to download them on its own.

    There is and will be no fix in the up2date for this because you are unable to use the update mechanism, therefore including a fix in an up2date package would be pointless.
    You are stuck, but you can get unstuck if you do as described in the knowledgebase article which was linked to by crashtestdummy.

    In fact, I wanted to edit my post because I found a fix.

    The link provided by crashtestdummy wasn't enough.
    I tried that when the fix was issued, and also when notified by Astaro. It seemed to solve the issue, but was still stuck. Upgrade was kept running on the slave (I've got HA), so I couldn't do anything.

    Today I realised the command provided in the fix had to be done on both nodes, thus I did it, restarted the update process manually (with audld.plx and auisys.plx), and this fixed it.

    It seems the link in fact was updated with HA, but I just realised this.

    Anyway, all is up and running now, just waiting for 7.300 to be on up2date [:)]
