I am using 1 onboard NIC fully supported and tested according to the HCL and 2 PCI NICs also fully supported and tested according to the HCL. I have fully reinstalled the operating system as described in the Knowledgebase for adding NICs to the hardware.
I have 2 [Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+] PCI cards only one of which is identified in the Hardware tab as eth0.
I have 1 [VIA Technologies, Inc. VT6102 [Rhine-II]] onboard chip which is correctly identified and assigned eth1.
This is currently a test machine running the latest version of ASG (7.2) under a home user license. I plan to test using 1 WAN interface, 1 LAN interface and 1 DMZ interface. I have tested the NICs in another machine with another operating system and they work fine. I have read posts on the forum that Astaro easily recognizes many Network interfaces. Why can I only get two interfaces up?[:(][:S]
