7.200 question

For some reason my ASG v7 in an off site location, will not download the latest patterns or the latest firmware (7.201) so i was thinking i need to apply the patch through the SSH. ( i could have sworn i checked it before, and it said I didnt need it, but i want to double check) For whatever reason i cannot SSH to the box, I get a Network error message.

So I was thinking of downloading the new 7.200 firmware, my question is this...

If apply the 7.200 firmware update from the FTP site, it wont wipe the box it will just apply the new firmware correct?

The ISO will wipe the box. Make sure you have a backup config saved.

An individual up2date wouldn't, but if you can't ssh in...

i know what you mean, i was able to SSH awhile back, thats how i checked to see if I needed the 7.200 patch or not.
