ASG and USB 3G Modem?

I wonder if someone could let me know if this is possible. I want to use ASG as a temporary routing device out in the field connecting to the internet using a USB 3G wireless modem.

Setup would look like this.

PC's ----- ASG ----- USB 3G Modem ----- Internet

I was looking at installing ASG on some sort of small form factor device like this

i like the 3g solution from linksys more this sort of solutions. they have 3 solutions for this.

Ideally I need an IP device to sit on the ethernet and I want to VPN into it remotely.

IP Device ----- ASG --VPN-- USB 3G Modem --VPN-- Internet

I assume I would have to somehow use a DDNS to give it a fixed IP. The Linksys device has not had a great write up for the UK, appears to be quite particular on the card you install in it.

Kyocera makes an USB EVDO router. Works fine for me for short-term use, although I've heard that it's not stable for long-term use (has to be rebooted, etc., due to dropped connections); this may be as much the fault of the modem as the router, fwiw.

It does NAT; not sure if it can be bridged or not (probably).
