I'm surprised that ASG doesn't appear to have any facility for importing dhcp server info. Perhaps I come from a weird background/environment, but I often static-map dhcp clients. Having to manually type in a large number of these seems ludicrous. Yes, I know I can just manually import the data into the dhcpd.conf file. But as this product is GUIfied and is running a SQL database, I suspect that the .conf files are generated from a database. Soooo, manually editing .conf files might not be the right thing to do. Plus, Astaro has this warning that doing anything as root from the CLI voids ones support agreement.
So, how would you people go about setting up a large pool of static-mapped dhcp clients?
