Description of the IPsec VPN connection in logfile

Hello,

In the archived logifiles for the IPsec VPN tunnels the original name for the connection given in the Site-to-Site VPN tab is replaced with some very (for me) cryptic and senseless ones. In the livelog everything's fine.

How can I have the ASG not replacing the real names in the archived logfiles?

BTW, we are using V7.20

It's probably the other way around; none of the logs have the names, but the livelog viewer replaces the IDs with the names.

Not that that really helps you.

I suppose you could download the logs and write a script which replaces the IDs.

No chance to change this? In the old ASG V6 the real names were written in the archived logfiles.

You could make a request to your reseller or to Astaro directly... they don't always read these forums thoroughly.
