SSI 2.200 USB Install

Hi,

I've found the SSI USB Install package on the FTP, but i cannot figure out how to have it work... everytime it ends with an error.

Where can i find the correct procedure? is every USB Stick suitable?

    Not that I know of.  I was answering based on the original thread, which was installing from a USB stick, so I made some flawed assumptions.  

    Even with a software based install, you can't install from a normal USB stick to my understanding.  It's something hardcoded into the OS to only recognize being installed from an optical drive (ASI sticks emulate an optical drive, which is why they work.  Normal thumb drives emulate a hard drive which is why they don't).  

    I've only seen one thread where somebody claims to have gotten an install to work from a normal thumb drive, but it takes some manual customization and 3rd party software to do.  I never tried it, since it looked like way too much trouble for me.
