Recover lost password from backup file

Hello list,

wonder if there is a way of recovering anencrypted backupfile without having the password.

Except reconfiguring the whole machine of course. [;)]

Honest, hast anyone an idear of how to decryptthe .ebf-backupfile?

This would be a great help.

There is no way, sorry. We are using strong cryptography to encrypt the backups.

Nope, to be able to do so would negate the worth of encrypting it in the first place. Finding / remembering the password is your best bet.
