RAM useage.....

I have a ASG V7 firmware 7.200, I have exec reporting running once a week, and RAM usage is through the roof , although the CPU is only at 4%, what else could be the reason for the memory leak?

    I've noticed the same thing. My ASG 320 ran at about 50% RAM for weeks on 7.1. I let Up2Date install 7.2 last week and I've been seeing the RAM use creep up every day. I just rebooted my box about an hour ago and RAM use went from 80% to 30% after the reboot. I'm going to keep an eye on RAM use via the daily executive report but it sure feels like there's a memory leak...

    What's the output of `free` and `ps aux` (or you can use the Support->Advanced->Process List) from the command line?

    Linux works differently than winders.

    basiclaly if you aren't using swap heavily the memory usage is fine.

    I'm aware of how RAM is used in Linux; I use top from the shell to track process space. There's two processes that seem to grow: afcd and good old MySQL, which I've found the other threads about.

    Still, something changed for us between 7.104 and 7.200. I've got a 220 that I didn't upgrade yet and it's stable as can be...
