I've been rolling out ASG's across the UK to several Universities. We have an "installer" crew, "configuration" crew and "licensing" crew.
Whilst the units are pre-configured when they get to the site, the licensing is done once the unit is in situ (because the license needs to reflect where the unit is physically installed). However, some of the units are going out on site and are not being license in time (7 days) - hence you get the "upload your license" screen.
This is all well and good (ie. we have a stock pile of licenses) but we need the ASG serial to complete the license generation in my.astaro.com.
So if possible ... could a future release of the firmware include just the serial number on the upload your license screen?
Anyone else run into this?
