Installation aborted

Hello

I am trying to install astaro but during the installation step 1 of 7 im asked to press F8 to start the install but when i press F8 the screen then reads installation aborted any ideas what this is about 
from what i can make out i have all thje hardware requirments 
P4 1.7 gig
256 meg
40 gb HD

    It's likely an incompatibility with your MB SATA controller chipset... some "bleeding-edge" chipsets aren't yet supported on Version 7.  Could you post more info about your hardware?  Also make sure you have only 1 hard drive in the system, and only one cd-rom drive... if you have more, disconnect them.
