7.104 Up2Date is Out...

I had no problems with single machines, but my HA (active-passive) did not come back alive. The two machines fighted for the one providing connectivity. Stopping one (I guess it was the slave) of the two machines brought back life to the connections. After all connection been restored, booting the slave made the HA cluster active.

No problems here using Active-Active.

Update done without any issue. 
It seems Dev team is quite active those last weeks! 3 updates in 3 weeks, great job!

Hmm I updated from 7.103 to 7.104 and after it rebooted it showed all my interfaces as being down although I could remotely access the webadmin but can't connect to the Internet. 
A second reboot brought things back to normal.

I just up2dated a whole lot of Astaro systems for customers last night (contract customers); none failed.  This was a mix of appliances and custom hardware, with several 110 / 120 units mixed in.  After seeing the intermittent issue with 7.102 causing loss of network access (until a reboot), I let 7.102 through 7.104 queue up on each system over the past week or so... and rebooted the smaller appliances before updating... then hit the "Up2date to Latest Version" button on each, and each unit up2dated and rebooted fine.  Part of my plan was to make sure the 7.104 script ran after the 7.102, so if I did lose network connectivity, the unit would eventually reboot itself due to 7.104 requiring it... it seemed to work out just fine.

I posted this in the Web section, but may be worth mentioning here.

2 updates went on while I was travelling (home user).

Email SMTP was OFF and users could not contact the ISP to send.  

I had to configure the smart host then then have those in the house use the ASG as their SMTP server.  Not a big deal.

However, 

None of use can log into GMAIL (just hangs), or even Ebay - it loads the main page, but you can't log in.  Fails on XP with IE and Firefox as well as a Vista box.  

I haven't had time to dig into the logs (as I was fixing the email issue), but anyone else seen this?

Pretty basic setup.  Home license and 3 users in behind it, all Nat'd, etc.  Nothing special in the web filtering, pretty much the way it came out of the box so to speak.

A sign that you can't log into forms, I.E  hotmail, ebay gmail is a sign that NAT isn't set up correctly.  At least in my experience.  When I first loaded Astaro, I hadnt set up nat and I got the SAME EXACT symptoms as you.  Once I finished that process all worked fine again.

Just double check.

I might agree, but it has been running fine for months.  As I was travelling, and I'm the only one to log it (there is just my wife at home), I truly didn't change anything other then applying the updates which I did remotely (last time I do that).

I took a quick look around and didn't see anything that I might have busted.

I even did a roll back of my settings (I have a weekly automatic backup), and that didn't help.

Is it possible to roll back to 7.101 easily so I can test it?

I'm hoping that I don't have to do a full rebuild again and then bring in one of my working backups.

Can't you just manually download the 7.101 update and do a manual upgrade?
