I require a backend sync for Remote Access. I followed the instruction for Radius installation, found in the knowledgebase of astaro.com. http://portal.knowledgebase.net/display/2n/kb/article.asp?aid=254953
1. Question:
8.Edit the profile so that an unencrypted connection (PAP, SPAP) is allowed as well by disabling the „No Encryption“ function in the „Encryption“ register and make sure that RAS is allowed! Leave the other values unchanged.
The sentence, that unencryptet connection needs to be allowed and I must disable "No encryption" makes no sense to me.
What needs to be checked on the Authentication Tab? As there is only MS-Chap and MS-ChapV2. The manual says, that Astaro supports any authentication method(ms-chapv2, ms-chap, chap, pap)
2. Question:
Must a user be created on the ASG before I can use backend sync (or I check Create users automatically) or does it work anyway without a local user only backend sync?
