Since the new update 7.100
Astaro is supposed to run native ad.
When i try to join the Active Directory nothing happens, astaro just displays "settings sucessfully saved".
A DNS record in the AD DNS system has been created eg. asgv7.company.com
The Astaro can look up the DNS of both the domain controller and its own name. (Tested from the Support tool in the menu)
My Astaro is not located on the same network as my domain controller. is this nessersarry? As the new update is supposed to be in Native mode?
My ldap and DNS ports from network a(astaro) and network b(domain controller) are open. (for the fun, i open all ports from my asg to my DC,) I did still not work.
The astaro gateway is not the firewall, my astaro only runs SMTP service.
So where can i look for errors? My computer account is not created for the astaro, and i even tryed to create one manually? dident work eather.
Admin is used as the bind user.
Why is there no error pop up? astaro team diden't put it there?
