Pattern Update Problems

New Astaro on a computer.  Running 7.011 (Not 7.1).  Everything is working fine except the up2date - specifically the pattern updates.  It still has the default patterns on the box (4960) which is well out of date.  It is licensed, and the licenses look fine.

Configured it yesterday at about 5:00pm PST.  Since then, (18 hours later), no updates. Otherwise it's working fine.

I've turned on and off the updates.  I've restarted.  I'm not sure what to look for at this point.  Since I don't need the 7.1 immediately, I turned off the firmware updating too (after many hours) just in case it's getting bogged down dealing with that.

    Not sure, but it look like that your up2date is still trying to fetch the update to 7.100 ("u2d-sys-7.100.tgz.gpg").

    This may take a while (big up2date and there are a lot of Astaros outside).

    I can't see any try for other up2dates (clam-av, etc.)

    Hi,
    those servers you are trying to connect to are the default server list. Every 6 hours there's a process running on the ASG trying to figure out which servers are the fastest for you and thereby replacing the default server list. This obviously has never happened, therefore I'd assume that the ASG has a network connectivity problem. The process checking for server proximity uses UDP ports 33000-34000 to work, please make sure that you can use those ports from the ASG.
