Can you take a backup file from version 6

Can you take a backup file from version 6 and install it on a astaro firewall with version 7.11. We would like to have the new capability of version 7 with the configuration settings set on version 6. Thank You

Read the release notes for Version 7; you'll find that you can import a Version 6.311 backup file, however, it does not carry over any of the Proxy, VPN, or IPS settings, those you will have to recreate by hand.
