PPPoE Connection Password

i have forgotten the password used in making my PPPoE connection, and when i log on to Astaro and look at Interfaces and the External Connection, it shows the password ******* hidden.  is there a way to get that password?

my only thought was to try to SSH into the Astaro box, as root do a search for the string of the Username for the PPPoE connection and hope that it brings up a file as a result that would also have the password.  the command i'm running now is: "grep -R "CONNECTIONUSERNAME" /"

any other ideas?
