7.008 won't update / can't find update on FTP

package is quite large and needs some time to sync over all servers and answer all incoming auto-download requests

So running for over 12 hours is typical?

first of all we should make sure what we talk about - downloading or installing.

for both 12 hours is of course not typical. for downloading it may really take a long time to download a ~100MB package from a server, also depending on your internet connection.

for installing it only depends on the machine power, but should be done within some minutes. if it does not run through, check the Up2Date log for a reason and please add the last information displayed in the progress window.

Telling me there is no package to install.

EDIT: Well looks like I'm getting 500 errors trying to download.

The package probably just isn't there yet... this is a big one.  If you want to download it manually, go to http://download.astaro.com/ASL/up2date/v7.0/

It's sitting there.

Hmm can't download it even from there.  Guess I'll leave it overnight.

got same problem on Astaros locates outside europe.
Maybe this boxes got yesterday the FIRST 7.008 update.
Suppose Astaro took the file during download away.

My solution:
download u2d-sys-7.008.tgz.gpg from ftp 
after finish,upload this file to the box and start manual update using  auisys.plx via ssh

Worked for me for 3*asg120 und 1*asg220

I've noticed that for the past few up2date packages that the process of Astaro getting them onto their various ftp and up2date servers has been horribly slow.  Then once the package is on all of the Astaro servers, the bandwidth is extremely limited.  
 
I've gotten into the habit of downloading and applying manually from ftp.astaro.de the morning a package becomes available.  This is always the first server an up2date shows up on and it has been hours before it's availale through anywhere else.

Works here...

Went in Just FINE yesterday 12th Sept here in UK .. all working OK, had to restart the WEB Admin using the SHELL 

  Log into the box via SSH and do      /etc/init.d/aua start
