7008 Update deleted all config...

Hi,

the 7008 update deleted all my config an license info, had to upload my license again and restore my config from configfile.

did anybody have the same problem?

ps: on a second machine nor problem...

    same problem at customer on 220 without HA here.
    another customer with 220 HA has problems. will see if it is the same problem there tomorrow. This problem is very serious I thnk. maybe astaro should remove the 7.008 update from ther server before more customers shoot their machines. we warned our customers not to update until this thing is cleared

    Can you check if there is a *corrupt file in /var/confd/var/storage/ and send it to me directly? ( mgehrlein at astaro dot com )

    starting the update brought the slave into up2date state and then nothing more happend. the slave was announced as unavailable by the ha since the customer started the update yesterday. after rebooting the slave this morning i was unable to start the installation agaig - or it did start but no progress window was available to show. after rebooting the master, downloading the package by hand, uploading it to the former slave, then running the installation, somehow everything went fine - but no update progress window was available. at least no configuration was lost here.

    Same problem here; 7.008 wiped out one of our gateways back to stock configuration. On Two other gateways the content filter is toast.

    Nice Update!  Now we sit and wait for support to call use back.

    Same thing happened to me, had to rebuild the config from scratch, restoring from weekly backup caused the same reset.  Tech support had no solution as of 12pm.  Start rebuilding the config, or reimage if you want to use backups.

    Hello, 
    can you ping the firewall on the default address? 192.168.0.1?
    If yes, please check if the auto backups available are.
    Then can you restore the system.

    happened for me too.. fortunately it was only my home astaro in vmware.. but still... little scared now to update customer machines.. [:O]
