Connection problem

Currently I have Astaro on an old Dell P4 1.5 512MB of ram onboard 3com nic and a Netgear red nic. My issue is I can pull DHCP on the network I can log into the gui interface,but I can not http,pop, ping, or tracert. The box is able to be pinged from outside the network. The box was also able to download its updates. And it was able to email its daily reports to me once I changed over to my old network. Can someone point me in the right direction on what I am doing wrong here.

    Have you setup any PF filters or a MASQ NAT for your different services?
    By default the software will install with a hidden any any any block rule

    What version of Astaro have you installed?

    BigTy,

         Have you enabled the proxies for both HTTP and POP3 and configured them to allow the internal network to pass through the firewall? As for the tracert you will have to configure the firewall to allow tracert to pass-through via ICMP options tab in Network Security.

    No I have not configured the Proxies. I just set the firewall up and enable the trans proxies for both. So I will look into that, I have installed V7. 

    Is there not a way to have an open all rule setup on this FW? I have used a few FWs and most do open or closed, and some have a half open feature.

    I went and checked and I do have rules setup for this box. The distro set them up by default.

    What are the rules ? Are they active?(Green)
    What is "Live LOG" telling you wen you start let say Internet (HTTP-80) from a machine?

    What do you mean with: I changed over to my old network.?
    Did you change something.....?
