Use with vmware player

I have installed the VM appliance in vmware player in order to see ASG in action before I install on dedicated hardware. Can anyone help me in understanding how I should configure things so that traffic on the host is passed through ASG or point me in the right direction? I assume this is what I need to do but I haven't been able to find any information on this.

Well, I had posted a long reply to this, and I don't have time to replace it. Suffice to say, it will take you as long or longer to make this work in VMWare as it will installing it on dedicated hardware.
Plus, I'm not 100% sure that VMPlayer will allow you to make the config changes necesary. VMWare Workstation, maybe.

VMWare Server is free, and will give you all the flexibility you need.

Jon as you point out it's easier just to install on dedicated hardware!
