Unable to Update to 7.006

Hi, i am unable to install Up2Date 7.006 on my ASG220 now running 7.005.
I have tried manual download also. Every try to update failed.
I have made several reboots also...
I also tried it over SSH Shell with the command "auisys.plx --rpmargs --force".

On the shell the installing of the package kernel-default-2.6.16.43-54.i686.rpm failed. And because of that the script endet with a message that Up2Date installation failed. See attachmends...

Any Ideas ???

Hi,
please check the contents of the following files:
/var/up2date/sys-install/rpminstall_err.log
/var/up2date/sys-install/rpminstall_out.log

They contain additional output during the RPM update phase, this should shed some light on this issue.

/var/up2date/sys-install/rpminstall_out.log

They contain additional output during the RPM update phase, this should shed some light on this issue.

Hi Andreas,

i just checked the directory /var/up2date/sys-install/ but there are no log files. There ist only a subdirectory /u2d-sys-7.006 witch containes the file install-sys-7.006.xml

Hm, they probably got removed. Please try to install the up2date package again, and use the --nocleanup option with the installer (auisys.plx --nocleanup --rpmargs --force).

OK, the logfiles are now in that directory.

The error message while running the install command is the same than before.

I wasn't able to reproduce this issue even under stress conditions (memory and CPU). If possible please provide login information for the box so that I am able to test, therefore please contact your local Astaro partner, which wil forward the information to us. Thx.
