7.006 Up2Date Package

I noticed my Dashboard of the ASG V7 says I have an update ready (7.006 obviously).  I have checked numerous times (in the last 4 hours) under the Management>>>Up2Date section and it still does not show the new update package ready for installation.
     I decided I would try the manual route so I downloaded the u2d-sys-7.006.tgz.tar file from the ftp website, manually uploaded it and then clicked on Apply. Nothing else happened....
     What am I doing wrong?  Still not seeing any update packages available.  Does it take a long time since the update is around 93mb or so?
     Any help would be appreciated.

    i have the same problem...asg show 1 update but it doesnt apear

    Does the dashboard show "...available for download" or "...available for installation"?

    ...download would mean the the up2date has not been downloaded yet.

    Had the same. I've downloaded manually (take care of the filename, IE might change the extension), and imported it.

    Hi there, 

    as the download is pretty large, it can be that our download servers might be pretty busy and therefore the download can take a bit longer.

    The Dashboard shows a message as soon as it finds a new package on the server.

    Yeah, mine was saying it was available for download for about 4 hours though.
    Manually downloading it took about 5min

    PS Gert... Web Security report seems plain broked.

    the Web Security Report works, but it takes a while until it displays something the first time.The first few minutes after the up2date it just displays a grey content in the window and the webadmin hangs up.

    All webservers are overloaded, have been all day. I have tried from work and home, best I have been able to achieve before the connection fails is 2.5mb.
    Download speeds of 2.5kb/s, 8 hours to download on a 1.5mb link.

    Some servers aren't responding at the moment. So while your ASG will show an upgrade available it could be a long time before the download is completed and installation can start.

    Everyone jumping on this release must tell you something about the previous release.

    During the bootup, a database conversion/checkup script is started because there were some changes to improve the performance of the web security reporting database. Until those changes are finished, no web security reporting is available. The duration of this process depends on the amount of data which was already stored in the database and the hardware specs of the ASG.
    This will only happen on the first reboot after the up2date is installed.

    Looks like my suggestion of using deltarpm to reduce the size of updates would be very useful!
