Via C7-D Support?

Hi People,
I see that it is not "officially" supported in the HCL, but is anyone running a Via C7 machine with the VIA CN700 Digital Media chipset?

Walmart has a $300 low power machine(2-20W) available now. I thought it would make a good box to stick the personal version of Astaro on?

Any thoughts?

    The CPU itself will be supported.

    Unfortunately Astaro doesn't list any Via chipsets at all for V7 so who knows if it's supported or not.

    It would be nice if Astaro had something like the Smolt project for Fedora where it would report to Astaro what hardware had been installed/tested. I imagine that a lot of hardware works just fine with Astaro that is not reported.

    Unfortunately you can't seach for 3 letter words so searching the forums for Via Processor support is difficult.

    Here's a thread which reports success using a C7 1.5GHz processor:
