NTP issues

Hi all, 

I´m running Vmware Server 1.03 under Opensuse 10.1. 
There are several VM´s running linux all keeping their time. 

Only on VM ( Astaro V7 ) runs out of time - very slow. 
What I´ve done is as follow. 

1) in GRUB of the VM I added 
"kernel /boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/disk/by-label/root vga=819 splash=silent noapic nolapic nosmp" 

2) in /etc/vmware/config 
"host.cpukHz = 2009361 
host.noTSC = TRUE 
ptsc.noTSC = TRUE" 

3) in .vmx file 
"tools.syncTime = "TRUE"" 

I rebooted the VM but time runs slow as before... 

Who can help me please.

    Hi Lionking,

    the change in the vmware configuration file doesn't seem to have helped.

    I've done some further research with the help of your grub hint. The page where I found some more detailed instructions was on from Microsoft :-)

    Unfortunately the change didn't help much. See the attached screen for the menu.lst. I added the entry to all startup profiles, but the clocked is still running away. Do you have any more tips?
