Doesn't Recognize Onboard Network Card!

Check the onboard NIC is listed in the hardware compatibility list.

Buy additional NICs and install them.

It is Realtek 8100c, I think it doesn't support this type, I couldn't find on the list...........

Disabling the onboard NIC won't do anything. It sounds like you are stuck getting an additional NIC for the machine for now.

You should open a trouble ticket so that Astaro knows that there are people out there with hardware that is unsupported.

I am trying to install Astaro V7 on a MSI G965M motherboard which has an on-board network interface.

But when I begin installing, in the "detecting hardware" stage, it recognizes everything except for the on-board network interface.

What can I do, please help.......

Probably wont helpyou exactly, but I would down load the OSS of SusE Linux and run the hardware Bios checker and MEM TEst, the you can get an idea of what your MoBo is like .. ASG/ASL is based n SuSe ...I had a Laptop with a REalTek chip similar to the one you describe and SuSe Linux 10.2 wouldnt install because of that ... it seems the lowlevel bios etc doesnt correctly work and only a dodgy driver written exclusivly for windows works ...

I have installed an extra NIC and opened a ticket about this subject....
