[7.003] Is it Wise to use DMZ for AP?

Hi all,
I got an A(ccess)P(oint) wich is connected to a switch with all other servers & clients, all are behind ASG7. My question is if it's wise to put a extra NIC in ASG7-box to attach the AP to it and put the AP in a DMZ with a different network-range? But I need access to internet and have to access the other servers. Is this possible? And is this more secure or does it has no severe effect on the security issue? Alsos if it's in a DMZ is it possible to use IPsec with the Windows XP-clients? Hmmm, a lot of questions for a sunday morning [;)]

    My home Astaro setup has the WiFi access point connected to the DMZ net.
    In our office Astaro setup, we provided a separate WiFi net from the Astaro box.

    In either case, the net that the WiFi access point is on, is masqueraded behind the WAN interface, so that the WiFi users have general Internet access. If anyone on a WiFi connection wishes to connect to the Internal office network, they have to open a VPN, same as if they were connecting from home.
