hardware upgrade

Just gathering information at this point.
 
Currently have an Astaro 220 with 6.304 loaded.
 
Does anyone happen to know if Astaro has a discounted hardware trade-up program of some sort?  The ports and throughput of the 220 are great for our needs, but I'm a bit concerned about upgrading to V7 and the limited amount of memory in the 220.
 
Failing this, is it possible to add more memory to a 220 and does anyone know the specifics of the module in there (type, speed, ECC or not, max per slot, # of slots)?  I don't want to kill our warranty just to look inside, so hoping somebody else has taken a peek.

    Thanks for the responses.  I'll check with the reseller.
     
    Up to this point, I've only run V7 in a test VM with 1GB memory assigned.  I was seeing performance issues, which I chalk up to it running as a VM and sharing resources with the host machine.  Upgrading the 220 with 512MB ram worries me because once it's upgraded (when the big patch comes out), turning back would be a major pain.  I suppose my reseller has some method to reinstall v6 if absolutely necessary by complete wipe then applying V6, but they are 150 miles away and the network downtime wouldn't be much appreciated in a work production environment.

    It all boils down to your number of users, bandwidth, and demand.  7.003 has fixed some proxy issues that were bothersome, and I have run it on a 220 ... performance was fine.  If you have a rather complex configuration, I'd wait until 7.004 (which I suppose will include the V6 Backup file import--I was told 7.003 would have that, but I don't think they got it in).  As far as reinstalling an appliance, it's pretty easy; all you need is a USB CD-ROM Drive, and a special (it can't be the ASL image on the FTP site) CD image, which can be had from your reseller... they can download it for you using a special username and password for the FTP site... you could have all that in hand, in advance, in case you don't want to wait.
