[7.002] ASG locks up when copying large file from DMZ to internal

I have an ASG 7.002 set up with three network cards, external, internal and DMZ. When I try to copy a 3.6 GB large file from DMZ to internal ASG locks up after a minute or so, and I have to push the reset button on the server to reboot ASG. The copying seems fine in the beginning, but when you look on the ASG dashboard one can see that the CPU is increasing towards 100%, the memory is also increasing to 100%. When the memory has reached approx. 100%, SWAP starts to increase. And then ASG locks up and I have to do a hard reset to get it going again.

Dos anyone have a clue what is going on?

Thanks.

Eirik

  • Try logging in via SSH and run TOP... see what processes are "eating" the CPU and Memory... I imaging when it dies you will see KSWAP on top (trying to swap memory around)... what will be interesting is seeing what process is eating the ram... I have had this problem too, with simple FTP / HTTP downloads, even when I'm not using the proxies in 7.x.  It's almost certainly a memory leak problem.
